Anyone get any gym recommendations? Thinking of Bannatynes as it's reasonably priced and has a pool.

Not been to Bannatynes but…

Budget / 24h - Pure Gym (two locations) is best.

Soho Gym is a little more and has steam & sauna.

Bannatynes prob a little more again than the above but has pool?

They told my GF they dont book tables out anymore, or at least on Saturdays. It does get stupidly busy though.

kosmonaut is terrible, slightly bearable during the week but Chief central at weekends. The staff are proper cringe too.

Lifestyle Fitness is a decent gym, where the old Virgin was in G-Mex. Can get it for £19.99/month usually if you live in the city centre, and tell them you're a member of a gym elsewhere.

No idea how the hell a restaurant works as a business.
I mean surely you gotta serve like 50k- 100k punters to break even

would love to know the answer to this. all the new places seem to invest bare capital just to open up

Got some training coming up in Manchester on a Saturday. Training is at Trafford House on the Chester Road. Train gets into Piccadilly with about 30 minutes to spare. Will obviously get a tacxi if needs be but Is there a quick tram/train link I could get?

Altringham tram should take 15 mins from the Piccadilly station undercroft but you'd have to time it just right.

Get the tram from Piccadilly towards Altrincham and get off at Old Trafford. Walk down Warwick Road cross over and just on your left. Might be a little tight if you've only got 30 minutes.
It would be a tenner in a taxi.

I think its been asked plenty of times, but decent haircut in manchester? Been going to Maclures for a few years now and I've finally had enough. I'm fucked off with the wait every time. Don't mind paying a bit more, was considering Reubenwood?

Ross at McClures worked at Nicky Clarke until recently. Get his number and text him before you want to go.

You can book with whoever you want at McLures but it was generally extra to do so. Cheeky fuckers.

This place is great but doesnt take bookings, http://barberbarber.net/

Otherwise recommended Karl at Mr Grooming in Spinningfield (via Eent) he did a very good cut on me but I think he is the owner so might be hard to get an appointment with him (why I sacked them off).

Mclures have got a spot in Didsbury if that's easier for Fallowfield Fukers, think James (guy with a stutter) is still there - best barber out the lot of them
