Don’t know if this was for last night or whenever but Noma isn’t too far from the arena.
I’d head that way or Ancoats unless you want the glamour crowd.
Deansgate is mostly shit unless you hit the top end around Liverpool st.
Marble or Cask for decent beer.

Would have suggested Mackie Mayor but it closes at 10.

I personally prefer Ancoats on a weekend - 7 brothers etc.

Can't wait for Cask to open in New Islington and drink on the canal.

I’m coming up for the fight next weekend with a group of lads. Where’s good on a Saturday night?

Deansgate Locks If you are a typical bunch of lads.
The NQ is like Deansgate Locks now so go there too.

Or just split up and go the aforementioned places.

Few drinks with the mrs - Cottonopolis in the NQ always good & tariff and dale. Flok too. All in the NQ. Other than that there is a good little cocktail bar called wood & company on south king street, artisan in spinningfields too. Refuge at the principal on oxford road is always good too.

Group of guys after the fight, depends what you are looking for really. Few decent places where big groups shouldn't be a problem would be Abel Heywood in NQ, 7Brothers tap in Ancoats, bundobust. Any of the places on john dalton street, but you will have to queue.

Was there an art book made of a sign shop in Manchester? They sold floor to ceiling SALE closing down signs and things shops used for signage. I can't find anything about it.

Laughing out loud

Honestly they've waited this long and now spending a fortune to open there, total madness

It’s a massive empty property and it’s on the main high street. Where would you open it? It’s uniqlo Laughing out loud

Its peak land value, but someone's probably not disclosed the immediate area has a massive scummer problem.

The closest situation I can think of is the Uniqlo off Herald Square in Midtown Manhattan - pretty grotty area, moderate daytime crime levels but nothing like the amount of drug users hanging off your door handle every morning.

If its opening somehow single handedly cleans the area up, I'm all for it.

Interesting. Rivet and Hide in London is tiny, think they are sufficiently different from Oi Polloi, lack of decent menswear in Manchester is probably because OP so successful.
