that's a shame, this site needs contributors like you. i'm not gonna blow smoke up your arse though as i think there's more to this site than solely fashion

Mostly lurking these days - doing the IT job in the day and evenings / weekends / holidays have my wifes fashion accessory business that needs running since she has a day job as well. Time is tight.
I'm supposed to be in Bali overseeing production of this seasons womenswear belts orders but can't get out there - hence the posting about flights that was mentioned.
After mid May I should finally have enough time to start posting on here more often.

high end fashion on here has pretty much fizzled out. hardly anyone on here buys couture or real designer clothing. instead it just seems to be middle of the road brands, or even more commonly.. uniqlo.
purchases that differate to the norm normally get slated too, which puts people off.
when i think fashion, i personally think brands like lanvin, dior, prorsum, rick owens etc etc etc, not uniqlo and clarks. and again, no rira, but its true, are half of the fits posted in here actually fashion?

I seem to recall a while back that you started off posting pics with uniqlo, clarks and other non high-end brands, before you upped your budget? When I first joined it was all AA, Nudies and Authentics and I'm no exception to this.
I can see what your getting at, but a lot of the people on here don't have the same budget to splash on garms, but they still want to have some input. I would rather see people post up budget looks than nothing at all, and it's good to get new people involved on here now that some of the other people have gone awol.

yeah, im not even dissing uniqlo or any other high street brand, nothing wrong with wearing some highstreet, its just that its not very inspirational.
Im sure most people look a lot differently now, than they did when they first got into fashion and clothes. In my first WAYWT i was wearing an obey hoodie, baggy levis jeans and nike SB mids
just carrying on from my skating years. personally speaking anyway, the whole reason i joined up on here was because i wanted to get into fashion and i wanted to change my look, anyway, going a bit offpoint here

I think it's because there are no heavy posting fanboys any more.
When Homer was buying all things Dior (innit), Rira was Baped up or Visvim'ed out, or even the Headz with the new releases etc then there was new stuff to look at all the time. Now if you look in menswear there is Supreme thread and a Uniqlo thread, that's it.
The fanboys get the piss taken out of them because they only obsess about one thing, so they leave, which in turn means you don't get their obsessions posted.

No Rirawin, but the fashion side of the site is pretty dry these days…
