Hate to say it but this is very true.
When I used to post here it was as much for the people and the humour as for the fashion content, felt like a proper community (I realise this sounds very corny).
This part has completely disappeared now, most of the posters that made me laugh post very rarely now.
A GJ is just a tax to sell stuff, lots of long term posters don't bother with it and you get loads of people who have one and only ever post classifieds and pick-up questions. (Carl did make a nice offer in the Supreme thread though TBF).
I still like seeing what people are wearing/have bought and seeing some of the brand threads but it's not the same

You know when Facebook changed to the timeline thing and everyone thought that their private messages had been published on their walls?
But they hadn't, it was just that people couldn't believe how open and public they used to be when using Facebook 5 years ago.
Do you not think people have stopped/ slowed down when posting on public forums?
If people are more private then it creates less posts/ less photos/ less content and people won't be so blahsay about personal "stories".

Sadly becoming very bitchy and people taking shit to heart like pussies. Like to give or gang up but when its their turn they cant take it.
People asking for threads to be locked, what is the point? how we gonna see fresh stuff or
at stuff, just let the thread fade out naturally.

Deffo less community these day, It did used to feel like a secret cool club. Everything changes though.Not sure what the online alternative is though, must be another online hangout. This really does feel like the end (i terms of the forum as old) Although, there was the old style forum that was different again with anons, so maybe just grumpy old fukers (no nick).
