Very Aston like, looks outstanding. Much prefer when car brands (citreon/kia etc.) really go out rather than the DNA mallarky crap that Audi/BMW churn out through the entire range with slight visuals tweaks every 5 years.

BMW/audi/merc churn out the standard 1,3,5,7 series A3,5 etc merc a,c,e class but I wouldn't call R8, that new bmw eco thing or merc Amg ordinary.

If I wanted an opinion on printing flyers I'd ask you X, otherwise don't bother.

Anyone have any experience with the previous shape X3? They have aged well to my eye, far better than the X5, and the petrol models seem to be a bargain.

I imagine the interior and milage wouldn't be very good on the X3. Modern cars have come along way since that. Sat nav, heated seats, bluetooth/mp3, parking aid etc

It's cheap because its basic.

Depends which model you're looking at, 3.0sd post Sep 2006 is the one. Nearly bought a 2007 X3 3.0sd M Sport last weekend, fully loaded. Car sold before we could look at it. On the lookout for another, whole lot of car for the money.

I've got a 2004 model X3 (2.5L SE Petrol). Picked up for reason you mentioned, think they aged well. Mine only had 65,000 miles on clock and in pretty good nick overall and paid £5k. Not had any issues with it so far, good engine and drives nice.

In terms of spec, I guess they are basic compared to new motors, although has got parking sensors which handy.

Downside and the reason I've been looking at lease deals in this thread, is that it only does 25mpg at best which is obviously not great.

I hardly do any miles and they are generally short journeys so the 3.0 petrol appeals. The comparatively simple straight-6 petrol ensures greater reliability and cheaper servicing over the diesel also.

Food for thought.

That 3.0sd engine is great, but the older x3 is full of plastic which becomes noisy as fuck over the years.

Does anyone have a Lexus hybrid on here and would they recommend?
Looking at the CT200h.
It will mainly be for driving in the city, max 200 miles a week etc

edit- Not brand new, it will be 3 years old but only has 35k mileage
