If you get a car through a company as a "company car" aka a Benefit in Kind (BIK) you pay a tax on that based on a calculation on its Co2 and value, thus if its electric its less than a normal Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) car as the Co2 is nish, so your tax as a BIK is less (see link below for calculation)
If its your own your own car you can claim business mileage allowance (AMAP) at 45p a mile for an ICE car and 4p a mile for an electric car. This is what I do. 10k+ miles a year 5k ish back a year.
Ethically if you want an Electric car go for it. But note your insurance is usually more (if its your own) on elecy cars and even Teslas are pretty shit to drive as they are heavy fuckers, the autopilot doesn't work great and their reliability is fucking abysmal so make sure you get a warranty if it aint new.
