One of these nearly killed TRhamza recently The crash that could've killed me. Eek

I did quite fancy the X3M, but chopped the M135i in for a pony spec X3 20d M Sport with some nice extras instead. Got a bairn on the way and need to start being sensible… for a while.

Lets be honest. Now one needs that much power in a SUV but people still want it. They were doing some crazy deals on them recently.

They are pretty lively and have a lot of power. I'm not surprised inexperienced drivers are binning them.

It was more realistic for me to go for the M40, I sort of still wish I did, but i'll persevere with this for now.

Anyone ever owned a Smart ForTwo?

Need to pick up a car for my girlfriend's 7 mile commute.

They aren't rated in the motoring press but parking is a nightmare on our road so it would make sense for us.

Great shout. Forgot about those.

Can get a Mini Cooper Convertible with reasonable mileage for <4k. Seems like that would be a lot of fun for the money.

Was in same position and got a mini cooper s. She loves it and I quite like driving it too. Pricey when they go wrong though but seems to be holding its value….she reckons she wouldn’t want to drive anything smaller or girlier cause blokes on the roads are dicks (and she’s right - I run girls in 500s right off the road)

What's pricey? Scrap parts must be plentiful.

We got an auto/tiptronic and the gearbox was screwed. Apparently a common fault on 2005 era minis.

I looked up errrrrting and they seemed pretty bulletproof….then when this hit found loads on it. Been good apart from that though

Just get a Fiat 500/Ford ka or Toyota Aygo/Peugeot/Citroen if you’re not arsed about looks or how it drives. Both cheap as chips to buy and maintain. Could get one with cheap tax and would be cheap to insure aswell.

The interior and spec of the IQ is leagues ahead of any of those.

Any Jag owners on here? Seen a spicy 5 litre supercharged XFR I quite like the look of for decent money. MPG is soul destroying but don't do too many miles for work and the wifey has a SUV to ferry the kids about and holidays etc.
