Black paint, not a bad idea but they are bound to pick it up on the more thorough check. Do I skip the bloke a onner before he inspects to thank him for coming out ?

Assume you mean can’t..

Absolutely no reason why you can’t, will be fine.

Never heard of tyres being checked thoroughly on a hand back, more so the rims for scratches etc.

Just park the car so the nail in tyre is on the floor and can’t be seen

What are FUKers thoughts on Lexus RX hybrid?

Do lots of mileage in city traffic so a self charging hybrid can save me money on petrol plus it has very decent boot space.
Looking at 67 or 18 plates with less than 20k mileage as brand new is unnecessarily expensive…

Great car, loads of kit and properly comfy. Plus they last forever and Lexus service is the best. Go for Premier spec and you get every option available.

Why would you get a massive SUV if you're driving round town?

Surely an estate is a better option if you need space.

Honda is Ubercool

Anyone have a F10/F11 5-series?

Recently I've been spending about 3 hours a day driving and fancy something a bit more fun to drive than a 1.6TDI Seat.

…or am am totally deluded that this will make any difference to my life?

After doing a 70 mile round trip to work for 15 years, really don’t understand how people enjoy driving. I fuckin hate it and there’s that many bell ends on the road it’s unreal.

Should have compulsory driving tests every 5 years to get rid of the shite off the road.

I don’t particularly enjoy driving, generally I can do an hour tops then can’t wait to stop

Glad it's not just me - properly like this. Although apparently the infotainment system is proper naff, slow and just a bit clumsy. Pain when the entire fucking dash is screens.

If you’ve got a comfy car with good sound system, auto/dsg gears and cruise control then don’t mind the driving, but in some little 1.2 ltr manual thing with incessant road noise, then no thanks.

Love Jags - I’ve had the XF previously and recently the XJ LWB and they were brilliant all round. I prefer them over BMW/Merc/Audi any day..

(Recently got a new S8 though but I’m waiting for the new XJ to come out I think…)
