Its technically illegal, needs the company's name and postcode on them apparently. So unless it says it doesn't have any info on the bottom it probably will.

You need "Show Plates" really. Completely blank

^What he said! Though unless you're one of these melts that puts dots everywhere to change letters and digits or uses italics or some other similarly stupid shit its not very likely the plod will stop you to check you have the small print of the maker of your plates.

Anyone here got a 90's 400cc jap i4? Not a bad time to shop for bikes now.
Going to see a Honda NC23. CBR400RR and a FZR400RR. The latter is really cheap nowadays.
Not quite the high revving banshee the nc23 is but still 14.5K rippems.

Might not fit any of them but it's worth the punt.

Might as well ask this here as well. Looking to get a smallish family estate with decent power. Anyone have any first-hand experience from Golf R Estate or Leon Cupra ST? Has to be 4 wheel drive. Currently leaning heavily towards the Golf.

The golf R estates look great - don’t see too many of them around either (unlike the hatch)

You considered an S4 avant or 3 series touring (with X drive?)

Golf R is very good, driven one and the estates do look good. However dependent on age as the golf is a bit boy racer, I would personally go S4 avant as swede said.

Thanks for the ideas and all are good alternatives. Issue here is the budget as I live in Finland and we really don't get the best prices when it comes down to cars due to the taxation.

For example the only Panamera I would consider is the 4 E Hybrid Sport Turismo and the cheapest used one (2017, 45k miles) is €100k. Tiguan R would also be nice but as it's a new model the price with the spec I'd like to have is around €95k. Oh, and a 2017 S4 avant with 30k miles is still around €90k as well.

A new Golf R Estate would run me around €65k, but currently looking at 2018 models with around 15-25k miles and fully specced. These go for around €50k and Leon Cupra is usually about 5k cheaper with similar spec. But then there's also CLA 45 AMG, but really don't like the interior of it as would need to get the older model (2018/2019).

Dunno, only heard good things about the Golf R especially after doing some performance mods to it.

not a problem in Finland I'm sure, but golf Rs are targeted by car thieves all over the UK
