No idea if you could get it as add ons, we just went for the SE spec which had everything we wanted pretty much. We've only had it since the start of the month and I've hardly driven it, but so far so good.

I thought the same of the older shape, but really like the look of the news ones.

I’m glad someone gave the Porsche shout
Maccan is a better shout

Macan is a great car indeed. Easier to park than Cayenne and more svelte.

On a different note: anyone ever bought a repaired, previously Cat S, vehicle?

Have spotted one that looks just the ticket for what I need, with good service history since repair and I’ll probably use til it’s kaput so not concerned about resale value. Current condition and mileage are excellent for the price.

What does concern me is getting a vehicle that was Category S and has since been re-registered with DVLA insured - so if by any chance anyone has experience with this I’d appreciate any tips and/or stark warnings.

I personally would never touch a cat car, I know people that would but most are in agreement that unless you have pictures of the damage and know what was fixed and also know what garage it was fixed at, with an invoice listing parts, don't bother.

People that fix and sell cat cars know that value is greatly reduced and therefore try and fix things on the cheap or fix cosmetic things and leave the internals a wreck.

Quite often talk to the car but seldom get a reply, bit like the missus.

Bumpy ride too.

Never really took off tbh, I remember my dads Merc CL back in 2002 had voice recognition so its not new tech by any means.

Seems to be getting a resurgence recently because of alexa and siri etc but its usually easier to just use the controller or touch screen.
