I’ve got a charger from these guys

Not sure if it’s any good as work sorted it, but you can schedule charges when elec is cheapest in the night I’d you get a good tarrif.

Technically it’s possible for them to plug in, the issue is the billing hasn’t been solved yet - I wouldn’t hold my breath for it in Europe this year or next IMHO.

Those are good prices, it’s all about the price and the quality of the work they do on site in terms of the breaker box, the cable management and what not.

I had to get mains fuse upgrade and an isolation switch installed prior to the installation which was an additional cost of maybe £250 iirc.

Yeah car game has gone mad, if you don’t need the car it’s an easy £4K but if you’re planning on selling just to buy something else then obviously the next thing you buy will be overpriced too. Defo a sellers market at the minute.

We’ve been told by our main supplier prices will stay like this well into next year but it’s anyone’s guess at the minute, we never saw this coming this time last year.

I’m selling my model X for that exact reason, no new ones until winter next year at the earliest and someone is offering me 10k more than I paid for it 24 months and 30k miles ago.

Been advised not to get a Tesla one, even if you own a Tesla. Also as I understand it all home chargers now need to have the ability to connect to WiFi? What if your WiFi doesn't reach the garage?

Around 40% of the UK's electricity is currently produced by gas-fired power stations.
