I know some people who are at manc who have to catch the bus to lectures everyday….whereas for me its a 15 minute walk

I played football at home and came back to watch the boro every other weekend, so if not just for that it was extremely useful. I could have walked into uni from where i lived in Leeds, but it would've taken me about 30 minutes. it also helps when you need to nip into town. It's just convinient really.
But cars are a lot more comfortable, bang on the CD player, cruise along, go where ever you want to, pick up mates etc… you also don't have to worry about some youts playing shit neyo/akon songs on their phones, you also don't stuck sat next to some old bint who stinks of piss, or someone sneezing/coughing on the back of your neck

yeah everyone i know seems to be saying not taking car to uni etc etc, and they are leaving them at home, seems mental, used mine so so much at uni, couldnt have been without it really. I found i needed a car more when i moved away to uni.
