wtf.

Consequently, NBC — for whom Albert worked for over 20 years — fired him shortly after he did play-by-play for the 1997 NBA Finals on The NBA on NBC. Bob Costas took over for Albert on the basketball side in the 1997-1998 season before stepping down after the 2000 NBA Finals.

We've been high-fiving all around the Travelzoo office after finding this slamdunk of a deal: tickets to see the NBA's first-ever regular-season game in Europe, live at London's O2 Arena, for just £20*. That's a massive saving of 60% on the original price!

Following the success of multiple sold-out pre-season games in London, the NBA is hosting regular-season games in Europe for the very first time. Travelzoo subscribers can catch all the excitement as the New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors compete on this historic occasion.

The two games take place on the evenings of Friday 4 and Saturday 5 March. Upper Tier seats (originally priced at £50) are available for £20. Seats nearer the court on the Lower Tier, worth £80, are also available to Travelzoo subscribers for £35. A booking fee of £2.50 per seat will be added to the £20 tickets, and a fee of £4 per ticket to the £35 seats.

NBA game was good at the O2 last nite, took a while for the crowd to warm up but I then again Nets or Raptors are nothing to get to excited about. Hopefully the Lakers come next year.

Good to see Andrian Chiles get booed as well Cool

Ray Allen's new Jordan's for the playoffs are dope…

Can't see it happening over the series but I'd love to see the Celtics knock out Wade, LeBron et al.

‘…when Rajon Rondo strode back onto the TD Garden floor in the final minutes of the third quarter of Saturday's Game 3 of an Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Miami Heat, his dislocated elbow popped back into place by the Boston Celtics' medical staff, the legend of the spunky, young point guard grew and he took his spot comfortably amidst the gutsiest playoff efforts in NBA history..’

Rondo's dislocated elbow – 50ish seconds in, I couldn't watch the slow-mo Shocked

Warriors - Celtics Finals would be closer than anything we’ve seen IMHO. Hayward and Kyrie coming back could be the difference maker. Agree that GS is still odds on though.

Warriors - Houston was the final last year.

I'm a Raptors fan. We suck. Playoffs still hurts and getting rid of Derozan was a shitty move.

Kuzma, Ingram and Ball are better than his cast at the Cavs tho, they’ll improve.

I enjoyed last nights game. Thought we'd struggle without Leonard but looks like we've got a real team this season.

The Greek Freak has stepped it up a gear for the Bucks. Enjoying the season so far.
