Ace is lovely inside, good vibe in the reception/bar. Location could be better though, it's in lower midtown surrounded by perfume dealers. I'd stay downtown if you can find a decent price

Stayed in ROW NYC. good location for midtown attractions and can easily get subway to lower manhatten, lower east side etc.

I always stay at the nomad which is pretty much next to the ace but a bit quieter, ace is like a nightclub sometimes

Ace was good, room was nice and the hotel has great facilities, but agree with stay gold, lobby in particular can be quite busy and loud. Location was fine for us as it's pretty much right next to a subway station.
