Not really a fan but anyone want one? Or should I buy them all to sell on ebay? They have 46-50.

Has anyone tried to dry clean a beeswax cotton Cabourn jacket? I know it says you can't on the label, but wanted to check if they are being over cautious. If not, how do you recommend I wash the jacket?

You're not supposed to wash / dry clean any waxed jacket ever. You just sponge it down and when the wax wears off re-proof it.

Nice one. I sponged it down and it's looking less grubby.

How do you go about re-proofing the jacket with beeswax are the results hit & miss?

Don't know, never done it. I'm sure you could get it professionally done somewhere although I would imagine it's a bit like applying polish to a pair of shoes.

I'm sure if you email Cabourn they will advise you as to the best methods of going about a re-wax, and possibly even recommend someone to do it.

Why is it that this brand doesnt seem to get much interest, when comapred with the japanese brands like Visvim and White Mountaineering for example? Is it simply that people dont like the clothing as much or its overpriced or to easy to get a hold of? Or is it getting interest and im not recoignising it?

Really, is that why? Its accesability, would the word Hipster apply here?

Edit: http://www.fashionsauce.com/brands/nigel-cabourn-stockists

Its suppliers seem to be indie enough to me?
