Probably not as good as Florence but…I've been to neither. £299 5* all-inc sounds all right to me.

That aside Barcelona, Valencia, Lisbon, Berlin, Rome are places I have been and are all better than Bilbao IMO.

Go to Florence, it's great. Won't be particularly warm in February though!

Agreed Duffman - Berlin in Feb is pretty much a no-go from (bitterly cold) personal experience, amazing place though.

Easyjet to Milan Malpensa, shuttle bus direct to Milano Centrale (7 Euros, about 45 minutes from memory), train from Centrale to Firenze (about 1:45).

Can anyone recommend a week in the sun (Europe) for around a bag? Don't mind self-catering, part/all inclusive, whatever.

It's been a while since I've done a 'sun' holiday in Europe with the missus and I really can't be arsed trawling through thousands of places trying to find something half decent.

One of the nicer canaries or the balearics, loads of nices places off the beaten track.

Cheers Andy, going to save Florence for when I have a bit more time and do Pisa, Florence, Bologna or something like that.

Anyone been to Dubrovnik, decent? Thinking of twinning it with a Croatian festival. Or perhaps Split?
