How much is a pint mob?

I reckon Budapest or Copenhagen basically

Looks like we can get flights and somewhere really nice on airbnb for like £200 each for a few nights in Copenhagen which isn't so bad really

About £4-5 in most places but be prepared to pay £7
Edit: Actually not as much as £7 that was just in our hotel which was ridiculous. thinking about it everywhere was pretty much on par with London.

hard to find a pint in 'central london' that isn't £4 and up now. Unless you go to Walkabout or some other shit hole.

£5-6 in bars during the daytime. Not so bad really. £1 at the System Bolaget per can of Kung beer, Crocodile beer or this Blue and Yellow stuff.

Hotels are not cheap. Youth hostel grade is around £60 per night.

Ha, I'd expect most Pacific Islander women to be able to beat your average fuker in an arm wrestle!

Hypothetical question: Imagine I wasn't a fuker and was going with the gf; what is it like?

its all going to different islands and stuff. and then some you just can walk around them in 10 minutes or whatever.

Been there on a work trip 2 years back, it's beautiful - but I wouldn't go there as my only holiday destination, rather combine it with something else in the region (New Zealand/Australia/whatever) - as I'd probably get bored after a week or so. And flying there takes fucking ages Fascist!

Oh yeah and India's right on the women Laughing out loud

This

Rick how long you in Ecuador for / whereabouts are you going (in terms of areas?)

Quito is actually a really nice place to stay and wander round the old town for a few days

Some of the beach towns are great, either the bigger more touristy ones for partying a bit or the smaller ones for chilling. Good surf too.

Go up into the Andes, there are lots of national parks, I've been to a few and got to recommend staying at this place: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g294308-d1645208-Reviews-The_Secret_Garden_Cotopaxi-Quito_Pichincha_Province.html

It IS a hostel but they have some 'proper' rooms if you want and it's very nice, all meals included (very nice food), really nice communal areas and good activities. It's a bit like a bargain hunting lodge or something Laughing out loud

Most tourists to to Banos, which is a spa town with a bit hot spring fed baths. It's quite fun if you want to do some shit like quadbiking, white water rafting etc but it's not that great imo

As for the jungle just make sure you pick a good operator, the difference in service levels / quality / whether when you're not looking they're dumping all the rubbish in the river is pretty wide.

stayed in a couple of youth hostels here when we inter railed a few years ago. Was the most expensive accommodation of the whole trip and some of the worst. One of the places we stayed was just a large open room with around 100 beds, zero privacy, felt like a homeless shelter. Paid about £30 for the privilege.

Best places to go in the states? Is there a thread on here about it? Mate just asked me to go to Vegas with him in a week for 16 nights. Fly to Vegas but planning on getting a few internal flights possibly San Fran/LA.

Any info on places to go/stay. Heard mixed reports on LA..

Do three nights in each, LA, San Fran and even San Diego. You'll get bored of Vegas real quick…

If you're in Vegas, hire a car rather than fly. Drive to LA / San Diego or San Fran then take pacific highway up or down, realistically will take 2/3 days stopping at motel / hotel (holiday inn) on the way.

LA is huge, didn't really venture much outside of Santa Monica, Hollywood is tacky as f***, Getty Centre's worth a visit & loads of decent beaches.

SF's great, loads to do. Could pass through Yosemite on the way between SF & Vegas as well.

Cheers for the info, they're pretty much all the places we mentioned on the phone this morning Smiling Thinking about getting a car as well.
