Did Vegas/LA/San Fran/San Diego last summer and it was amazing but just wanted to chill and stay in once place this year.. original plan was 10 days in Vegas, but don't know if it would be too much and maybe we should do 5 in LA/Miami and then 5 in Vegas..

Did you go to the neon sign museum? That place is the best, highly recommended, don't walk to it though, proper ghettosville on the way.

I'm weighing up between a few places for a few days in October when I'm off for the national holidays in Qatar. My cheaper end options for flights to places I haven't been before are Oman, Istanbul, Beirut, Jordan, Nepal.

Anyone got any advice on whether 5/6 days is too long or not long enough in any of these places?

Lots of things to do in Istanbul, 5/6 days is not too long imo.. even too short maybe (altho depends on what you want to do)

If you love lying in the sun by the pool all the day then there is nowhere on the planet that is hot that ten days is too long for, how do you think people go to they villas for six weeks every summer?

Yeah but its more the intesity of Vegas, obviously going to be on it every night and its adds up gambling, shows and partying over there.. and takes it out of you Laughing out loud I'd never have too much of lying in the sun in a chilled place.

One of the lads seems to have gone massively against Vegas, hes thrown Miami into the mix.. Anyone been to both?

Other two are voting Miami, but they know fuck all about it. Obiously it will be class, but we can pretty much go anywhere in the US..

Worth going? Places to stay?

Never been to Miami but I'd be willing to bet there's a lot more to do/see in Vegas.

I went to Miami for the day unfortunately didn't get to do the whole clubbing thing, but south beach reminded me of Blackpool full of gangs of lads on stag do's etc and more homeles speople than I've ever seen!
That's going back a good 13/14 years but I can't see it changing that much

^ this

Art Deco architecture is nice, but that's pretty much it, would definitely do Vegas over Miami.
