Going to Viterbo tomorrow for 4 nights. I'm flying into Rome and may stay the night and spend the Monday wandering about. Anything other than the obvious that anyone would recommend doing or seeing with a chick? Nothing topper please and I'm just about 4 weeks post ACL reconstruction so nothing too strenuous either. Also, we may go to Florence so any recommendations for there? Or Viterbo if anyone's actually been there in fact.

Just booked one for end of August with the Mrs.
Hiring a camper from Kuku campers. They seem to be highly recommended. Booked one or two trips in advance but going to play it by ear in the main.

Viterbo it's a small town, just walk around the city centre.
One thing you should visit it's Villa Lante, which is a great villa with an outstanding italian garden.
Palazzo dei Papi it's also worth a look.
Obviously, if you have never been to Rome or Florence you can easily sacrifice Viterbo for them.
If you can spend just one day in Rome, have a walk from Circo Massimo > Colosseo > Piazza Venezia\Altare dell Patria > Fontana di Trevi > Piazza di Spagna > Castel Sant'Angelo > San Pietro\Citta del Vaticano.
if you want you can also include Phanteon and Piazza Navona after Piazza di Spagna, on the way to Castel Sant'Angelo.
End the day with a Cacio e Pepe at Felice a Testaccio.

Phikz have a walk up Aventine Hill if you have time, its a nice chilled way to spend a couple of hours.

Anyone using Gatwick, there is a VIP security just before the normal one, it has no queues and is a much better experience. Says by invite only, but you can just walk in (unless there is somone standing by the door, which there rarely is.)
