Daikenyama was a great area for a wander about, would be great to stay there I imagine.
On a side note, if you're buying a JR Pass, worth staying near a station on the Yamanote line (free travel included as part of your JR Pass).

Good friends came back from here recently and raved about it. You have to fly into tenerife and then get a ferry which is a ball ache but as i say, raved about it.

I was there a few years back - location's good if you've got a car.

Cheers illwill
I stayed in a villa (Villa Maria) in San Rafael a good few years ago now. You'd be better off with a car. The bus does run passed there but forget trying to get it at night - it's full of either people coming from San An to Bossa or vice versa. You're only 5 mins drive from San An and 15 from Ibiza Town though.

What are some good (fun) neighbourhoods to stay in, in Tokyo.
