Going to naples, any recommendations? Will be there for a week so any stuff close by is also of interest
aside from visiting the cathedrals… these are definitely some of the best spots I’ve come across in Naples..
Pizza:
Pizza da Michele most famous classic pizza.. V popular, so bit of a queue if you want to sit down but worth it.
Pizzeria al 22 / Pizzeria Da Atillo: great pizza place with a wider menu in a great old school neighbourhood
Pizzeria Gino e Toto Sorbillo - good sit down option on Tribunali, bit of a touristy area so busy so will need to wait, but decent
For non-pizza option: Ristorante Il Gobbetto - tho need to book. Get the 8-plate antipasti
Drinking:
Best two places are:
Cammarota Spritz / Pisadog 19 in the Spanish Quarter - great for starting off w couple of €1 aperols & vibes
Piazza Bellini - west end of Tribunali, basically a big square of bars where everyone meets up, students/arty/etc. Brown Peroni €1, Nastros €2.
Theres a club called Spazio Interlab which is meant to be cool, but havent been yet
++ Via dei Tribuanli is a really amazing long street, everything in the old town converges here, mostly locals, loads of great spots for coffee + canoli + to watch the peds bomb past. The Duomo is also close to here and worth a nose around
