Recently back from a 4 day break in Palma, would deffo recommend for what you're after as that's basically what I did. If you change your mind drop me a PM as I stayed at a magic Air BnB apartment in the City.

Spot on thanks, swede Cool

Made a special trip for lunch at Mercat de Olivar (had to 'fess up to my bird that a '…bloke from the Fashion Forum that I frequent recommended it…' Oops) which was fantastic and randomly came across Mercat de Santa Catalina during a wander which was cool too.

Hired bikes too (coupla decent spec Specialized trail bikes) and had a day outta the City which was proper rural.

Just back from 2 weeks travelling around Bali and Lombok and hands down my favourite country in Asia. Only went to Canggu and Ubud in Bali and loved them. Then Nusa Lembongan and Gili Meno. My favourite place was kuta Lombok and the beaches around there. Had an awesome 4 days there exploring. Luckily not too many Aussies, but it’s made me realise they are genuinely the worst people on earth.

Only after going to Bali did I also realise how much I dislike Australians, put me off going there completely.

You went to the good parts mate, Seminyak is Aussie central, Ubud and Canguu are much nicer.

You been to Thailand at all mate? Reckon that tops Bali for me.

Yeah I went like 10 years ago and loved it but. I dunno. Thailand has been ravaged by tourism. Still an awesome place. Sri Lanka and Bali have been my favourites.

Going to Cologne for business for a few days in September. What's good? Travelling with a vegan so any vegan restaurant recommendations would be good.

Any recommendations of any kind for Montenegro and Dubrovnik? I've read through the previous posts but wondered if anyone had anything to add or more recent tips.

Looks like we'll be flying in to Dubrovnik (not been there before so will spend a few days) then travelling to Kotor / Budva area and up into the mountains (Bobotov Kuk / Durmitor).

Non-topper budget and I'm not hiring a Porsche.

Was there a couple of weeks ago - 'Lucin Kantun' and 'Azur' were both good for food in Dubrovnik Old Town

Anyone ever taken a rucksack containing an empty Camelbak bladder on a flight? Don't wanna get to Departures only to have the thing confiscated cos it has a few droplets of water in it.

should be ok but depending how sealed they are you could run a dehumidifier next to it if you have one or a hair dryer on low to make sure it's dry?
