Yes Disco, did just that last month. Do Pompei, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Positano and try the Vesuvius hike. A week is plenty IMHO. We were based out of the Hilton Sorrento and rented a car from Avis. Just make sure there's a spare tyre in the car, had a flat and it was a nightmare. We did an ice cream making class with the kids in Sorrento that was kitschy and fun. Da Vincenzo in Positano was amazing for food. Shout me for any more detail.

Whereabouts in Cornwall are you staying? I'd recommend booking everything in advance as they won't let you in anywhere without a booking.

Government has just given Sweden a travel corridor…. a country with virtually no lockdown, no masks, no house arrests, no quarantining for its returning citizens… and a case rate of less than Germany’s or any of the other harsh lockdown countries that treated Sweden like a pariah…
Hmmm…..
Almost seems like Sweden were right all along.
I’ll be crossing the bridge from Copenhagen to Malmo tomorrow evening…

Anyone else going away for half term and hoping to god Boris doesn't give in and go national lockdown again?! Trying to keep my son's excitement down incase the worst happens. We are booked for a week in Cornwall. I have never wanted to go for a walk on a wet beach this much before

looking to go away with the wife and dog from boxing day - new year to escape before 2021.
Can anyone share any decent air bnb or alternatives they have been to previously that could fit the bill - Happy to say in the UK or drive into local Europe. Looking for somewhere with decent walks, pubs etc
Thanks!

Driving in to / out of Europe from UK could be a massive pain in the arse if you're planning on cross-channel ferry or Eurostar around new year. Also make sure you have a read of this for changes post Brexit, regardless of current negotiations.
