Tried looking for a Seaside break for a weekend in July, can’t find anywhere half decent. Everything is booked. Any suggestions are appreciated. Honestly up for anywhere decent. Done Brighton 100x so anywhere else.

Not really.
Flights cheap and once I’ve hit green light for actual travel Airbnb have a good cancellation option pretty much up to a week before you leave.

No risk unless you are talking about Covid and I’ll have had both jabs by July.

Hoping to spend Christmas in Asia as well. Just hoping the Thais, Filipinos and Japanese get their vacs sorted out.

Depending on where you are, there are a lot of places I could suggest on South Coast, West Country etc. Where have you looked already?

Based in the midlands, I’ve tried looking at places in Margate for a change and a few bits in Wales. Don’t really want to go as far down as Cornwall. Any suggestions appreciated, not sure if I should try and look midweek instead of the weekend. Looking for the first weekend in July.

Exmoor/Dorset/New Forest all good options. North Norfolk too.

Was resigned to thinking this wouldn't even be possible, but with the latest announcements it now looks like it could actually go ahead.

Had a look at the usual places but think somewhere like Ibiza may be a bit of a nightmare for what is quite a large group when everything does eventually reopen.

Also considering Albufeira or Barcelona.

Any suggestions?

Lisbon was really good when we went for my mates stag a few years ago, really cool at night with everyone out in the streets drinking and partying etc. Obviously understand it will quite different under current circumstances.

Can’t see there being any problems as by then the UK and Israel should be pretty much fully vacced.

I know variants etc but I’m sure things will be ok for Israel especially.

Yeah we’ve taken a punt on US, got premium economy to LA for £600pp late July. Can move the flights twice and all our Airbnb’s are cancel a few nights before. Even the Madonna inn is cancel a week before for full refund.

I currently think its going to happen and would pay £100 for test (current plans are £240) but I think that’ll come down.

Fingers crossed.

Was supposed to go Porto in July so still time for it to go back on but not holding much hope. Not overly pissed off, I think if you book any holidays at the moment you can't expect them to happen

Just looked at booking centre parcs near Xmas and they want £1000 for 3 nights. I know places are trying to get money back but that is ridiculous
