Need to go to Toups in New Orleans. Crazy good food.

Fair enough. I’m heading for that trip next week so I’m a little biased.
I spent a few days in NOLA last month and loved it. Good fun but I was there on a stag so didn’t see too much culture.
Ended up having to drive to Atlanta through Alabama and Mississippi and didn’t really see too much since it was all highway.
Charleston worth checking in SC.

Have to go to Germany for a day next month. What do I need to show other than proof of being double-vaxxed?

In Germany isn’t it also the case you need at least an ffp2 filter mask to get into places?

Everyone was either wearing them or the surgical ones. Didn’t see anyone with the cloth ones that are popular over here, not sure if that’s because it’s mandated though. I didn’t chance it and took a pack of surgical masks with me.

It depends where in Germany as state rules differ a little. I live in Berlin and most places, including bars, are ffp2 masks only but surgicals masks are fine in some places, like supermarkets. I'm pretty sure the cloth masks are still banned across the whole country though

Any recommendations for Sicily? Particularly Palermo and Trapani

Cheers guys re: Germany, looks like all set to go. If anyone has any tips for Koln (only there for one night), recommendations appreciated!

For the best schnitzels in town go to Bei Oma Kleinmann.
MaiBeck is a 1 michelin star place and is both good and affordable for some fancy dining.

It's funny, I went to visit a mate who lives out there, just outside Munich. We were talking about veganism, and he was saying it was pretty normal there, lots of people following vegan diets for ages before it before a bit of a fad here. Their supermarkets (bare in mind we're talking about the heart of sausage country here) was better stocked with vegan products than the supermarkets here, but the restaurant scene was dismal.
I've been to Koln once before, and there were 3 different vegan places I went to last time (one sushi, one burger joint and one of those where you choose your plate and fill up on whatever you want). All three were quality.

Are clubs open in Berlin and Munich yet? Or is it still just bars etc?
