Serralves is an absolute must, set aside a day to wander the gardens and galleries.
Get the old tram from the city to Foz do Douro and watch the sunset there.
Capela Incomum for a great converted church/wine bar.
Pick any port lodge and go for a tour, can walk over the Luís I Bridge then get the cable car back for views.
I'd recommend going to see Boavista play too, it's a great lump of a stadium.
Plenty of really good places to eat that are pretty well telegraphed, but if you want recs for some quality cheap restaurants then DM me, must be my favourite city for food.

I done a week in Dubrovnik last year. We absolutely loved it. Perfect mix of relaxing by the pool/beach, with a city centre full of history and amazing restaurants. Would highly recommend it. If you do go let me know and I’ll send you some decent places to go.

You could walk to the Center of the city in 15 mins. Can’t fault the hotel for what we paid. Unreal breakfast there which we got included.

I done a week in Dubrovnik last year. We absolutely loved it. Perfect mix of relaxing by the pool/beach, with a city centre full of history and amazing restaurants. Would highly recommend it. If you do go let me know and I’ll send you some decent places to go.

Failing those, Tel Aviv is amazing. Friendly locals, amazing beach right opposite the strip where most of the hotels are and markets/history for days… and an hour or so drive to Jerusalem…. Check out the Wailing Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre… forget the Islamic sites, they won’t let you in.
