Recs for Istanbul?
Heading out next month.
Looking for some proper turkish restaurants, as well as a topper restaurant for the Mrs birthday.
Also, any decent places to possibly buy a rug and general places to see.
Will be in Porto in June for a few days also, looking for good restaurants and wine bars, topper or casual.

Going to Cyprus on Friday, Paphos area. Looking for recommendations for places to go in the daytime for walks etc. Have got a car so a little bit of travel isn't an issue.

Always there as the old dear lives in Tala..
Troodos and the valleys for walking. Track down the Venetian bridges, google Tzelefos bridge. Roads are great to drive, very quiet, if you look out closely there's the odd little abandoned village from the war. A great place to explore.
Omodos is a nice village to visit (kind of on the way to above). It can be a little touristy as it has a few coaches that visit each day but a nice place to stop and eat. Little monastery, traditional houses, tavernas, there's a little main street with some stalls and tavernas but the nicer places are down the lanes. Stou Kir Youanni is a fave, wines are nice (local juice is all cheap)
Pissouri is also a nice little place, visited last year. The coastal road is now closed off but it's like 15+ mins down the motorway from Paphos. Bunch of Grapes is the place to grab a drink and the food is exceptionally good for Cyprus.
Good places for atmos and food, all a little out of the town but defo worth a visit…
Porto Antico - evenings by the sea, great food and staff.
A short drive past Coral bay, Oniro by the sea, get's busy but great sea views. Good place for daytime and evening. Near the shipwreck.
Sea You Bar is a great place for sunset drinks, can't miss this one, it's along the King's Road towards Coral Bay, just as the road dips down, busy spot right on the beach.
Sea Caves is ok for kids. A little bit like See You and Oniro's but not as nice and a bit quieter.
The Last Castle is a good place to visit for food, esp Sundays, some mild off-roading to get to.
You can get up north if you have your passport with you. Quite scenic in the Turkish areas on the coast.

Awesome Dee, will be sure to check them out. We are actually staying just near Peyia so Oniro is not too far. We discovered Sea You Bar last year which is fantastic in the day time for food and drinks. Thanks man

Sister is travelling to Spain next month. Been double vaxxed, no booster. Gov website says travel has to be within 270 days of second jab, but it's been more than that (so would need booster, which she doesn't want to do).
Are they strict on this?
Any other documentation needed?
Cheers in advance
