Hurricane, 24, Moon, Pure Souls and No child left behind are really really good imo.

This album is one of his best and at least 10 years. It has a sound from every album that he is done so far but modernized. Most people who don't like this album already don't really like Kanye anyway.

Liked the Lauren hill sample. The pop smoke and travis features was fire too.

If I hit you with a "W-Y-D?"
You better not hit me with a "H-E-Y"
It better be like "Hiii" with a bunch of I's

Listened to it 3 times today whilst doing bits around the house. Think jack said about some of the features on the last page, I can’t stand uzi and that lot, fuckin garbage, but I’ve enjoyed most of it today. Samples and beats are class. Will most certainly revert back to the older stuff once again in a few months.

Reading this thread back just makes me think you lot have gotten old. Don’t get me wrong the album is shit but the features are very much current… 100m streams in a day so far

His recent stuff is terrible, but Watch the throne, The Life of Pablo and Yeezus were all released in the last 10 years - all incredible albums which still sound good today. The last good thing he did was Kids See Ghosts.

To each their own but Ive enjoyed quite a fair bit of the album.

Songs like hurricane, 24, moon and pure souls mix the gospel and rap pretty nicely with songs like junya, heaven and hell, keep my spirit alive and new again remind me of the old kanye.

Lord I need you couldve been made 15 years ago too and be about any of his exes.

Wished he made more stuff like this though, the upbeat gospel stuff with drums

Listened to the whole thing on a car journey this morning. Some good stuff but mostly bloated shite.

Couldn't make it past the 4th song. Utter, utter shite

"Don't try to test me.
I keep it clean, but they could get messy.
I talk to God every day. That's my bestie.
They playin' soccer in my backyard. I think I see Messi"

Just makes me wonder how did Kanye exec/produce DAYTONA by Pusha T (7 songs, 21 min 10 sec) where every track is great but goes on to put his name to this kind of messy thing.

This new album was terrible, Drake's is only just slightly better.

Makes you wonder how good British music is getting in comparison, because I think Dave's project is much better than both; has more substance than both together.

Daves recent one was horrific too. Drake should get his feelings back instead of talking about private jets etc all the time. Kanye is dead and gone.

Nah, Dave's latest album was a decent project man. From "In the fire" to the James Blake (2nd half) track.

I had high expectations for Drake, usually has a few hits.

I've tolerated most of Kanye's recent work after Yeezus, but this was just a clear case of repeat, repeat and use rhyming dictionary in any form.

I didn’t like the recent one. I thought the first was up there with one of the best hip hop albums. The things he talks about, especially in the first few tracks was insane. Anyway I’ll give it another lesson.
Drake has been hit and miss since Take Care which is hands down 10/10 and probably in my top 10 favourite albums ever.

The pendulum will always swing between the US & UK. Right now the UK is smashing it.
