Can't sit on a barstool. Can only sit on proper chairs otherwise they feel unstable and feel like they're going to fall.

Well Swede, it's a good question that isn't gay. I plan to do my next firefight in a section of bushland near my place. There's a lot of new growth and the trees should look about 1/6 scale? I think there's gonna be a downed helicopter crewman and the Marines have to do a tactical recovery of aircraft personnel (TRAP). Of course the Russkies are gonna be looking for him too…

If I ever have a backyard I'm gonna make it into a 1/6 battlefield/obstacle course/training camp. Doing indoor scenery for 1/6 is too big, that's what my 1/35 or 54mm guys are for (see earlier in this thread).

Correct Superprecise. Originally developed and stockpiled in the early 1980s for a potential desert war. The pattern was supposed to cofuse Soviet night vision of the era which featured gridded lenses. It didn't really work but for night ops in '89 against Russians the Marines figure why not and at least those parkas are warm. The original kit was a parka, a liner, pants and a boonie. I personally hold everything but the boonie in my real gear collection.

what exactly are the dolls? Are they replicas for this sort of hobby/past-time or do they have purposeful use?

Well TheMistake, that's a good question that isn't gay. They're a base of Dragon toys and The Ultimate Soldier sets. Then I mixed in a lot cheap Chinese accessories and weapons sets as well as some cheap bodies and uniform sets (VDV scouts) from specialist online companies. Some of the equipment (VDV Scout webbing isn't that accurate to 1989, it's later but in the future I plan to give all the Russkies Chicom chest rigs, add a lot of small details, get some 1/6 vehicles like an M151 MUTT for the Americans to drive around in..basically these guys are my friends these days, all my old friends only give a fuck about themselves and their stupid fucking families. I hate families…

That's pretty cool Mil.
Reminds me of a doc called Merwencol, you should check it out.
The photography is really good.

Who knew you had a secret talent besides ripping WAYWT to shreds.

Do you play with dice / cards by some kind of rules to see what happens? Or are you using 'wargame' rules that they use for actual wargames with blank rounds?

This nankid went to my sixth form. And is now a rapper, all of his videos are quite difficult to watch.

That doc looks cool but I want to actually play out a scenario and see what would have happened if it was real. The doc looks like it's just about people setting up pointless scenes, there's no story or wargaming element.

Yeah CJ, dice and result tables to determine hits factoring range, weapon type, skill of the guy firing. Then cards to determine turn order and other stuff like casualty effects (draw hearts dead, diamonds wounded, spades and clubs is pinned down..etc). I use a set of fast play rules that lack some detail but you gotta role play out the details coz they're toys. I use more hardcore rules for my smaller guys.

Well whatever he did there would be some great ideas for making your own scenario.
The guy recreated a whole village/scenario.
I think he had some kind of injury and all this strange shit just started where he made an entire miniature town in his back yard. Worth a watch for his talent alone.

Never seen anything like it until I saw your cool army shots.

Some images of war from the latest firefight, attempted rescue of downed chopper doorgunner by USMC TRAP team. Result was unclear because it was getting dark and Mum called me in for dinner before I could play it out, going back next weekend early this time:
