I understand that and JD would probably let them do what they wanted. I was just saying from the perspective of Oi Polloi and what they set out to do in the first place which by the looks of it was to distance themselves from those kind of companies. But yes I take your point. Smiling

They certainly copped for a massive funding injection around 18 months ago, judging by the shop extension and massive expansion of premium brands stocked.

Hey Guys,

End is independant and has nothing to do with JD Sports.
Its run by a group of really young, driven people who just want it to be the best store - with the best service and no attitude.

We work hard at it and we believe its always work in progress to try and make the store better. We really care about what our customers/ you guys think, so if you ever have any feedback please drop me a line at christiaan@endclothing.co.uk

Cheers
Christiaan

Couple of recent emails.

Go on; admit it — you’ve often dreamt of donning a balaclava, loading up your Glock and carrying out a bit of the ol’ armed robbery on our humble Thomas Street shop. And to be honest, we don’t blame you, there is some nice stuff to be had. Luckily, thanks to a 20% discount code on our already ‘bonkers’ mid summer sale, you can get your grubby mitts on some great stuff for next to nought, without spending an extended holiday in Strangeways.

Mr Brown is… Reliable Ron

A pillar of the local community, no one’s got a bad word to say about old Ron. He may not have been the most memorable lad at school, but he always was a bloody nice bloke. Spending his days calling in on the elderly and organising coffee mornings, he’s usually up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire by nine. But underneath that winning smile, the sparkling white Spring Courts and the box-fresh Levi’s selvage jeans, some things about him just don’t add up. How come his wife still isn’t back from that holiday? What did he need to borrow that chainsaw for? And what was it he was burying under the patio that time…
