Store: http://www.atoo.co.uk/

Service: Had no need to contact them so no comment.

Delivery Time: Got a dispatch email after a couple of days and then received the parcel next day with Royal Mail.

Good Points: Good range of brands, plenty of pictures, nice website, paid £4.95 delivery and order was sent by special delivery, so fair postage costs.

Bad Points: The jeans I received had the tags removed (they were loose in the jean pocket) which might have been a problem if I'd wanted to return them. Could have sizing info on the site or simply state what size the model is wearing. One of the models looks anorexic so hard to judge how the clothes fit

Score: 8/10 - good overall experience

Threads Menswear.

Had some amazing discounts on Penfield, ordered the Hoosac Parka on Tuesday at £100 reduced from £250 and arrived with me on Wednesday. Cracking jacket for the price and great service.

Massively expensive delivery (26 euro's), slow delivery, DHL by road, took 10 days…

I returned some things, they still haven't refunded me a month after getting them back, keep saying their bank is causing the problem. Meh.

Store: Blackleaf.com

Bought some Vans, paid for Special Delivery (fairly priced at £4.95), arrived next day.

Only downside was the e-mail with the tracking info arrived 15 minutes before the shoes did, at 7:10am, bastards! Laughing out loud

Score: 9/10

Mr Porter

Just ordered a few bits and pieces including something that was out of stock although showing as available. Received an email notification saying that they didn't have it so they refunded shipping on the order and credited my account with a tenner in store credit Cool

I tried buying some of the CDG x DSM jeans from the Triads eBay shop.

24/05 I paid
02/06 I received an email saying the didn't actually have the size I ordered, but they had something similar
08/06 The alternate jeans turn up in the wrong size

Brilliant.

Great thread, definitely saved me some time and hassle with sites to avoid. Anyway, been looking around these 'ere forums from 'a distance' for a while but thought I should give Hugh Hefner a well deserved mention.

Store: Hugh Hefner - http://www.hughhefner.co.uk

Service: Great. They're a one off independent so customer service is a strong point!

Delivery: They use Royal Mail so standard delivery takes about 3 - 5 working days (Recorded Signed For). Pretty good value, not the cheapest but definitely not over priced (£6 for a pair of shoes, but was only £2.50 for t-shirt). They do offer Named Day delivery which includes Next Day, never used it personally. Also, you automatically get free delivery if you spend over £100. If you order before 1pm they dispatch the same day.

Good Points: Independent store so the staff have always been happy to help. I had to return a pair of jeans cos the fit wasn't quite right. They suggested another cut for an exchange, which they promptly sent out. Unfortunately they weren't right either which was more due to my weird body shape than anything so they refunded them without any problems. Easy to navigate, they have a filter system like most sites nowadays and really good detailed photos and descriptions.

Bad Points: They could probably do with a few more brands and maybe carry a bit more stock. Probably aren't the best for accessories either

Now up to £60 in store credit from Mr. Porter. Made an order on Monday and it's only just being dispatched today so they refunded postage. Good service and packaging but £10 for postage is still a bit rough. Can't argue with the 50% off though Cool

Yeah I know, but it's tough out here in retail. And yeah, I gave us 8/10 cos it is an honest review, albeit with a vested interest. The refund story is something we have done for a customer before. I know our downfalls and I know our positives. Besides 10/10 would have been far too obvious.

Anyway, how about an exclusive offer for you FUK guys as way of apology, and you can make your own judgement. Voucher code is FUK10, gets you 10% Off.
