The London store moved to Covent Garden, so possible that new investors came in.

Kafka is still independent, only one shop now opposed to when they had 2 several years ago. The shop is not as busy as it used to be, but I believe they do good with online sales.

Pure-man still independent as is signature menswear in Aberdeen but neither as good as they used to be.

That's closed now hasn't it?

Truly independent seems to me to be Kafka, The Bureau, Peggs, that are of a reasonable size.

FYI, this is everything owned by JD..

That's not everything, it's mainly the international subsidiaries of Sports Direct. They also own:

Donnay
Everlast
Firetrap
Kangol
Karrimor
Lonsdale
Muddyfox
Slazenger

Evans Cycles
Flannels
House of Fraser
Jack Wills
Lillywhites
USC

Mike Ashley owns 27% of French Connection.

Also worth noting that Mike Ashley is in bed with Pentland Group who own a big chunk of Jd sports,

It’s all just a massive monopoly

You can add Choice to that list too, got bought out (I think by JD) about a year ago

Other way to view it is without his cash menswear as we know it basically wouldn’t exist.

I was a bit confused myself. Eye-wink

It works fine until it all gets confused with one another and you end up with the Tent Yeezy's scenario that I mentioned before, as it makes the whole experience a farce.

I remember the JD team telling us that their call centre staff basically cover everything from the group, so could be talking about sizing for AF1s on one call, and then fishing tackle on the next. Laughing out loud

It was still operating just before CV hit, was actually more often than not busy when I used to walk pass. Not sure how those Neal St will survive, loads of empty shops there already.

I always wondered who owned BB Clothing.

Patta and Palace Indies?
