Can I still shop?

We are open again for orders, and you may shop as you would normally.

Why is my order delayed?

Although we’re back up and running, your order may take longer to reach you.

Tucked away in the FAQs and not prominent in the header like it should be if they’re struggling with fulfilment. I’m in the e-commerce game and we’re a much smaller outfit in them but we’re now able to shift pallets worth of 300kg+ eqpt out in a 24hr timeframe with no issues. Not having it.

They always have the message when it’s sale time. 1000’s of orders and they now have separate warehouses. I agree it shouldn’t take as long as it’s doing but there’s obviously something happening to slow them down.

Can't believe people are seriously moaning that their orders are taking longer to arrive.
First world.

I’m actually not that bothered that it’s taking longer than usual to arrive tbh. Not as if I’m going anywhere.

What is bothering me I suppose is the lack of comms from them. These things are easy to automate.

Nepenthes London

Ordered 7.30am yesterday and arrived 8.35 this morning, well packed with a copy of the EG AW20 Lookbook. Impressive.

This.

The company I work for deals in feedback management for businesses and the main gripe is lack of clarity and just being honest if you do not know. People would rather that than trying to brush something under the carpet.

It probably won't help having the bulk of stock in Italy, if it's there.

Moda Operandi - Not sure on this one, definite pros and cons.

Here's a breakdown of the order details.

Order subtotal
£328.00 - 40% off RRP for something that is at least £100 extra in UK anyway.
Duties
£11.02
VAT
£78.20
Shipping & Packaging
£52.00
Order Total
£469.22

The shipping time was very impressive. DHL from Ohio at 2:46pm on 30th June, delivered in W. Sussex at 12:12 on 2nd July.

However, £52 seems ridiculous! I am wondering if the fact that duties are low and tax is not extreme that it could be worse, but still. Not sure why Tax and Duties are separate but there you go.

I have saved approx £200 from ordering in the UK, but I can't quite see how the parcel costs £52 to ship, when they charge $15 in the US.

That’s about right for the price of shipping from the US sadly. Proper piss take and made using Shipito for US buys nearly useless in the end Sad

DHL sales staff are targeted on International Express sales.
I have a DHL account and always want to drive down the UK price (which they don't). Then I have to sit through presentations how express worldwide services will improve my business, I send fuck all globally though Laughing out loud

I guess the service meets the price, but I am not clambering for it that much that I need to pay a premium.

I know that most couriers hate working for clients like YNAP and Matches because they expect the world so maybe its how they get back at them.

All Blues Co (Leeds)

Have a physical shop but no web presence, very active on Instagram, purchases arranged via DM on there.

Payment is via bank transfer but quick postage and very good communication. Carry some good brands that aren't readily available elsewhere. Rugged Ivy / 70s prep vibes. Recommended!

Superstitch Paris (denim alteration)
Not technically a traditional shop. Mailed in a pair for tapering from UK on 19/05/20. Still waiting for them to come back. Doesn’t reply to any messages. Only answered his phone once and told me they were posted back on 22/06/20. Want to believe him but it doesn’t take something 3weeks from France to UK COVID or not.

Jeans were brand new too….. pretty pissed off!!

French post is dreadful. I can tell you 3 weeks is normal and 6 weeks is even possible. Used to get lots posted over from Pigalle store and took forever.

Thought as much and knew I was being impatient. It’s just the lack of response from him is pissing me off more. Only takes 30secs to send a reassuring message!

La Poste is truly the worst postal service in the world, they've lost countless parcels of mine. And sometimes things turn up after about 2 months

Rendez-Vous Store.

Amazing service. Despite €25 postage!

Order some shorts at 12.30 yesterday. Shipped from France and delivered in UK at 13.20! They used UPS by the way. Eye-wink

Really helpful staff when I had a sizing question as well.
