No contact details besides the e-mail address. No company name. Avoid.

Falke 1\10 (possibly going even lower)

Ordered something as part of a xmas gift for the missus, on Dec 12, no mention on the site of potential delays due to high volume of orders, but got informed immediately after placing the order, and already wasn't happy, but I thought I still had enough time.

No updates until it got shipped on Dec 16, expected to be delivered in 4\5 working days, so I thought ok no problem, will get here in time.
Tracking shows no sign of update since Dec 17, when it was processed somewhere in Germany, after that nothing on DHL\Deutsche Post site nor on the Italian company supposed to deliver it locally from some google search.
As of today, Dec 29, I still haven't got the item.
They have a helpline, but the number ain't working, wrote them through the form on their site, but haven't received a single reply.

I even had to pay for shipping! Fuming! Fascist! Fascist! Fascist!

What bags did you get Tiger? I got myself an Aer sling for travelling but at the moment it's where I keep my mask and sanitiser when I'm out.

I already have the Fit Pack 2 which I love - but ordered the Capsule Pack Max, travel kit (wash bag) and Cable Kit 2 in preparation for 2021, the year of travel (hopefully).

Flannels 7/10

Very surprised after hearing some of the horror stories. Yes they did fuck my Virgil size up and gave me a 10% off code that didn’t work (whilst there was a 20% off code working Laughing out loud on the site anyway), but I’ve just returned some other bits (found items at better prices) and it got there yesterday and I’ve been refunded today.

Had to pay for return postage but I’ll claim that back from Paypal.

Same with End. Fast shipping, free returns with collect plus and refunded within a day.

I like a store that can give you your money back as fast as they like to take it Cool

Beginning to take the piss with 37% charge.

I’ve asked for my gear back as they don’t even list half of it even though brand new with no explanation.

But 37% is a fuckin joke.

How long does it take them to pay out? Been waiting a month unsure if I should chase it up.

They seem to send a statement at the month end after 14 days from when the item was sold. It's annoying you can't something that says when things have sold.

Mr Porter and DHL delivered my jacket to the wrong address. Been accepted and took a photo of someone accepting it (and see their shoes). Mr P are investigating, but is there anything I can do with DHL to get them to retrieve the parcel and send back?

May be difficult, as it would be down to the driver remembering which address they went to, as the system will only have your address, and could be a new driver each time.

Buzz Ricksons UK: When I placed my order it just went to a blank screen, and although the order was there it just showed as pending. I emailed them on the 4th about it and got a reply saying they were shut until 6th but I could resend my message then Laughing out loud

However apart from that I was impressed, ordered the wool watch cap and it was £15 less than Son of a Stag, and shipping was free, and it arrived today in a box (!) that was wrapped with military precision:

Rendez-Vous Store

Item came quickly, although shipping was expensive from France to the Netherlands (€25).
Very neatly packaged and I liked that the box was exactly large enough to fit the item, hate it when you order something small and it comes with a weirdly large box.

Didn't get on with the item and returned it, had to pay for return shipping myself which I think isn't the best service when you've already paid quite a bit to receive the item. However they must have refunded me the second it hit their doorstep and also refunded the original €25 shipping!

Mr P - I know they’ve been getting a lot of shit recently but got a couple of pairs of Vans dirt cheap. Ordered Saturday, arrived today - not bad considering usual delays during their sale.

having a nightmare with aimeleondore ordered pre brexit, they did not ship till after, got it tied up in customs which I refused to pay as the charges were not correct (and they advertised duty/tax paid for uk customers) over a month on, I get about 7 days between email replies from their automated service. they seem to have taken order back and given me a store credit , though no actual explanation of this, and the credit is £106 less than my order…. their shipping company say they refunding the mischarged tax but thats not happened yet (7 days after they said) and i did not pay any taxes. though i can see on their terms it says they deduct the tax from orders returned due to no paid duty…

not going to let this one go, as no way is a store credit refund acceptable in this case, and the response time covid or not is a joke.

Can't you just claim it back through your CC? Store credit is bullshit

Agree with diederik. Speak with your CC company and say you want to dispute the transaction. If that fails, ask to raise a Section 75 claim (as long as you didn’t pay through PayPal or similar).

Paying via CC gives you an extra layer of protection in these situations. Hope you manage to get this sorted, right shitter all these issues since brexit.

Exactly the same problem in that FT article with Rivet and Hide. I think that the importing of Japanese goods is hitting some retailers hard if they need to deal with returns. Doesn't bode well for places like Alpha Shadows, This Thing of Ours or similar sites that stock heavy on imported goods.
