And why are ppl taking the piss out of jaoquin phoneix? He's fucking ACTING you dickheads. One of the best actors out there. Oscars are a load of bollocks. Can't believe Rourke didn't win.
Acting what? You do understand the point of the skit right?
He deserved it. And Stiller was funny as fuck.
Oscars was weird as hell this year.

This film was so LOL it was untrue.
LOL, as in, it's complete shit? Was gonna watch it tonight….should i bother?
Okay, its well acted by a respectable cast. Its reasonably atmospheric and also reasonably interesting. But…IMO, its so fucking pointless. The storyline had been done before, and better. By the same fucking guy no less, he did 'Little Odessa' and 'The Yards' (which is a superior film IMO). In fact The Yards even starred Wahlberg and Phoenix, are you starting to see my point about it being pointless? Even the most tense scene, (NOT REALLY A SPOILER AS ITS GENERIC), where you think the bad guys are gonna find out hes a cop, are outdone by the exact same idea we saw in the MUCH superior 'The Departed', amongst others.
So yeah its a 'good', film. But I left it having learnt or experienced nothing, and its only mildly entertaining. After leaving the cinema I just wished id stayed at home and watched 'The Departed' for the 50th time.
