Just recieved the 1950s quilted dot chambray from Tres Bien, quality and fit are superb. Fit is slimmer than the other 1950s I own.

Just in case anyone wants to know - the colour is more acurate on End/Our Legacy's website, TBS make it look lighter.

Pretty slim in parts but baggy in the mid rift. Its a marmite fit but its my favourite by far.

Quite changeable from shirt to shirt too - some of the 50s fit me way better than others. Best tried on in person tbh.

Did anyone buy/ have pics of the reversible paisely/ navy matador jacket? Interested to get a better idea of how it fits - just picked up a large for £70.

I received the trousers from the Subalpino suit, but the jacket had sold out. So I emailed Our Legacy and they've found me one, and still honouring the discount. Albeit 60% and not the 80% that Mr Porter were selling it for.

Still cool though.

I'm not so keen on the high vents on the 50's. TB says it gives them a workwear feel but i don't really get that. It's probably my favourite fit after 40's though. I just hope there are some interesting 40's for A/W.

My linen great sweat has had quite a few washes now - probably the softest thing i own.

People with the constellation blazer, how is it over an oxford shirt or thick tee? Really tempted, but not sure on the sizing as it seems pretty conflicitng whether to size up or not?

i would size up 1 from the size you take in shirts/t-shirts… im a M when i want something really fitted, but when i want to wear something under it i go for L… and the constellation jacket fits pretty slim so its the way to go!

yeah, size up 1 on the constellation blazer. I'm usually a small and the medium fits fine. expect the sleeves to be a little long though - i've had to get mine tailored.

It is for me I have the classic blue oxford RL in small, basically the same as my multi paisley blue OL 50's in a small maybe the RL is a tiny bit more flared.

basically it is the same style.

although OL sizing is random of course, the black denim 50's is a L and it is the same as most mediums etc.
