yet to see a physical store stocking XSs. their sizing (within the same style) also change according to the material used. so yea, you better off getting two sizes and returning one.

i've heard the new 50s is longer, yeah. i don't know if it's just me but i get the impression the 40s is taking a back seat. apart from the everyman collection (the blue chambray and rinse) there doesn't seem to any 40s this season (there might be a sanforized check but that's it). that's what end said when i emailed them anyway. i've always thought the 40s was a pretty unique fitting shirt. the maison shirt is meant to be boxy, but i'm not sure about the cutaway collar.

Don't think the 40s is taking a back seat neccessarily - my-wardrobe.com has only got 40s shirts in stock at the mo. Might just be that some retailers find them less successful sales wise?

This looks so sick, jealous of anyone who fits first shirts:

my wardrobe only has two shirts though! one is the rinse (everyman) and the other in the check i mentioned. i guess i'm just a little miffed that the first, success, and 50s are getting all these interesting fabrics and patterns and the 40s has been left out Puzzled

best shirt of the collection so far

best blazer of the collection
the archive 3 button blazer - its got two fabrics meeting. Top is plain whilst the lower half is finished in a stripe. hope they've made it so its a loose/relaxed fit this time. reminds me of that epic yohji blazer in the style influences thread.

i'm totally with you, so far i'm a bit disappointed on the shirting for 12/13…especially since there are no interesting color/pattern combinations for my fav. cut (1940's)…sadly, the 1950's is a nogo for me (cut), the patterns look amazing for some of these…at the moment i only picked up the generation shirt in cobolt.

the jersey for 12/13 is dope, loving the new bombers and the sweats in burgundy and in this grey cotton woll and i guess i have to pick up that versatile parka again in navy. Bought it in a forest green last year and it was my favourite jacket from autumn to spring. very recommended.

i'm not crazy about the first shirts, but they ain't bad. much more of a curved hem that the 50s and also quite short fitting. quite a slim shirt but also manages to look a little baggy in the middle at the same time. as with most OL the fabric they use seems to make a difference too. reading that back, that's probably no help.

and yeah, versatile parka in navy will be tempting. if memory serves me correctly, there's a shorter waxed jacket (quilted inside?) to come, along with a (wool?) bomber. i guess not spending £££ on the shirts means i might be able to pick up one of those.

http://www.mrporter.com/product/318214

what happened to 'a more tailored and fitted direction'?? i'll give my left nut to organ charity if that's a medium…

50s are super long this season. i prefer slouchy anti-fit to tailored / more fitted shirts, but the new 50s just looks ill fitted to me.

has anyone tried any of the new fits yet? maison or marble? marble in all black looks nice. i emailed OL about the maison and they said to size down.

Hi Our Legacy, i've read on the internet that your size large shirts fit big. I prefer a smaller size. What should I do Our Legacy?

Hi thanks for your email. If you prefer a size smaller to that of the large, and we called it this because we believe its a large, otherwise we'd have called it a medium, we suggest you buy a smaller shirt. Perhaps a Medium.
