I think those Stedman's are trying to recreate that 50's look - so they've got longer sleeves so you can roll them up.

So what's the verdict on Harry Stedman? Good quality but short and long sleeve length?

I agree with that. If the white ones can be had from the us unbranded for 9.50 they are a bargain.

Did you contact them? Might be worth dropping an email just asking why there's such a price differential; they're only a small brand I doubt they'd take too much umbrage over asking.

The measurements on the us site are different to the ones on the steadman site, so perhaps not exactly same?

Bought them from revolve. Shipping is reasonable and I didn't have to pay any customs.

Got a response from Stedman. They said their tees are made by Columbia, but to their own design etc using the best materials. They're assuming that link is to old stock they're getting rid of for cheap, rather than being anything like the quality of their tees.

The stedman tees are great quality but the fit is shit. Tight round chest with a weird a line through the body, and the long sleeves are weird. Neck is tiny too. If they can sort the fit these would be op.

I'm going to try the Stedman tees - I roll sleeves up anyway so don't think it should be a problem.

Have you all tried Uniqlo £10 supima cotton tees? They're the best I've owned for the price range - decent weight, very good fit and soft. Good do with more variety in colours, but they're good. Their white tees are horrible though.

Also try these guys:

Made in England, £25 a pop.

I've got the olive coloured one and I think they're pretty good quality, nice tight neck, short sleeved. I don't know what the white version's like.

Also, I got the 'easy fit' version which is very fitted to be honest - I dread to think how tight the 'slim' version would be.
