Ideally something series-based (one continuous story), hour-long episodes each. Not too fussed about True Crime type stuff.

Business wars is pretty good

Cheers, any to look out for in particular? Just started Coke vs. Pepsi

I couldn't remember where I got the recommendation for this from! Laughing out loud

This has been a lifesaver with night feeds with the baby. Gone through FedEx vs. UPS, Dominos vs. Pizza Hut and just finishing the Levis vs. Lee vs. Wrangler one.

Enjoyed hearing how Papa Johns started its customer base by nicking the reciepts for orders and addresses from a garbage bin outside the back of a Dominos to send their customers Papa Johns take on the pizzas they liked. Eye-wink

For the true crime fans, haven’t listened yet but been told one called ‘in the red clay’ is up there with serial, s town etc as one of the best. Will listen tomorrow.

'In our time' did its 900th episode the other week. OG and best. A lot of them are on Spotify as well as the BBC app.

Some in our times are great but some a little
Boring. I used to rinse the history ones.
I’ve been listening to Unexplained recently - pretty good.
Also finished I am not a monster which was interesting

Thanks for the Business Wars shout, really enjoyed the Pizza Hut vs Dominos ones.

Freakonomics is v.good, it was the Podcast that got me into Podcasts.

Try the Diamond Wars one. Really good but quite shocking as well. Never knew how much De Beers had staked in the diamond industry.

Quite niche, but the Denim and Boots podcast isn't bad.

https://denimhunters.com/category/podcast/denim-boots-podcast/

There's a great one where the interview the author of this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ametora-Japan-Saved-American-Style/dp/0465059732

If you like anything like Take Ivy, Americana brands and basics repro brands like Beams, Loopwheeler etc. the book is great as well.
