Isn't the information presented a tad ambiguous and read the last paragraph?

There is nothing in the GFA with regards to customs checks and reasonable digital solutions already exist on borders elsewhere, which could probably be improved. There will be no security checks on the movement of people and very little on anything else with goods in the interim period post Oct 2019. Bojo is likely going to attempt to rewrite the WA regardless of the initial posturing of Barnier et al, he will pander to the DUP and the pro brexit labour MP's, especially to the latter with his immediate so called populist policies to make improvements on crime, infrastructure and pump jobs/money in to the forgotten working class areas, aim to get it approved and avoid a general election at the end of the year. He will either land on his arse or make it work with the EU, personally I would be happier with the latter.

^ and by immigrants, I mean Muslims coming in from the third world. Don’t want to dilute my words.

And before anyone attacks me, my parents were immigrants to the UK and also from Muslim background, although I don’t follow it myself.

However I do think Europe will have issues with Salafism and Wahabism, which seem to the be the strands from which most Muslims coming into Europe follow these days.

I’m British, and proud of it. There aren’t many countries in the world we should be grateful to live in, but this is one of them. I would choose England over any Muslim country in the world, and so would most, which is why they come to these shores, but at some point, you must remove the shackles of culture, as it’s nothing but self destructive.

That's why I posted the dogwhistle, you should have just said the stuff about you being afraid of muslims in the first place.

The GFA commits to having no hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic. How do you avoid a hard border between the UK and the EU after Brexit? There’s no precedence for this.

Then a general election will be called.

this is what will happen. he will lose his spot before nov 19th and become the PM with the shortest time in office ever

GE will just return a stronger majority for the Tories, especially if they enter into a pact with the BP. Labour have a tough challenge given their voters are much more split on Brexit than the Tories, Corbyn is disliked and not seen as a credible or effective leader and that the Lib Dems won't work with them / Labour will want to field a candidate in all seats. Likely result will be hard Brexit under Johnson but he could flip against his cabinet.

that cabinet is horrific, i reckon he's def. aiming for a general election. Labour are a shambles and he can make a deal with the BP. Country is fucked IMO. Hoping for Scottish Independence.

Why would I be afraid of people from my own background?

I’m just saying Europe is going to implode just due to numbers eventually. The maths doesn’t lie matey.
I spend 6 months a year in Portugal and I’m seeing changes there now too… it’s going to happen all over Europe, unless countries take a stand.

Just look at recent election wins, there’s already a resurgence in ‘centre right’ or ‘right wing’ (what ever that term means) parties now…. it’s not a coincidence.

Of course during this time things will just be getting worse for everyone (save for the already rich) due to whatever they do manage to pass as legislation but it might actually be a blessing that *everything* will be tied up with Brexit for the next 5 years or so. Think of the damage they would do under their ministerial portfolios otherwise.

Tories have rolled out 500+ variations of Boris ads on Facebook, discussing all sorts of non-Brexit issues. They are testing what the most effective messaging is. Signs of an incoming GE imo.

Did you click the link in that last paragraph and read the article? Laughing out loud

Dee wrote: reasonable digital solutions already exist on borders elsewhere

Interesting. Do you have a source on a digital solution that would solve the exact border issue that NI and ROI would have?
