Propaganda and exageration are strong in this world regarding global warming. Just fighting back with rational thoughts.

yes it's important to fight for your social belief system isn't it. fighting almost like a warrior of some kind, you might say

more like "there are people that know more about this topic than me; taking all the available information into account i choose to believe that they're correct"

usually the underlying reason for right wing types holding a contrary belief is that it makes people they don't like feel angry and upset - it's the mentality of a childish bully, not based in rationality

In 2013 a study showed 97% of the worlds publishing climate change scientists across 12,000 academic papers agreed that humans are causing global warming and climate change. Further studies show that figure has now likely increased to 99%.

That isn’t “group think” or “arrogance” or any other term you want to label it, it’s called being presented with the evidence and drawing a conclusion from that evidence. If the evidence changes expect “leftists” to change their minds.

There was a consensus on Global Cooling and the coming Ice Age among scientists in the 1970s too. Are scientists smarter or less likely to be corrupted in a push to instill panic and manufacture a crisis today than they were in the 70s? Why?

You leave your vacuum on all day to try and make winters warmer. There's no point attempting to argue with you.

Yes, if you really don't understand why we know more than we did 40 years ago you're even dumber than I thought.

No, it's important to stick to the facts.

FACT: Pacific Islands growing, not sinking.
FACT: Global temperature stable
FACT: Antartic growin
FACT: warming areas are producing more food
FACT: Cold weather kills more people than hot weather does
FACT: The amount of carbon released by fires in the amazon infentisimally small.
FACT: Carbon produced naturally by decomposition is around 50 times greater than all human made emissions
FACT: The Great Barrier Reef healthier than ever
FACT: Some rich and powerful humans want to control the lives of other humans and tell them how bad they are and how virtuous themselves are.

Why are they smarter? Aren't they just making guesses about the future same as the 70s?

You are a fool to think todays people are smarter. The people of the Renaissance were far more educated and smarter than we are.

Ah I don't actually do that fucktard. If I have to actually point it out to you my statement was mocking the greenies that tell us to turn off lights to save the polar bears or whatever. Well if that's actually true then doing the opposite should produce warmer winters right? riiiiight??

Less than half of published scientists endorse global warming
Klaus-Martin Schulte examined all papers published from 2004 to February 2007. Of 528 total papers on climate change, only 38 (7%) gave an explicit endorsement of the consensus. While only 32 papers (6%) reject the consensus outright, the largest category (48%) are neutral papers, refusing to either accept or reject the hypothesis. Only a single one makes any reference to climate change leading to catastrophic results. (Source: DailyTech)

You're outdoing yourself, the paper you've quoted was rejected by a journal that often posts climate change denial articles.

Mil I think there’s a fairly broad consensus of opinion on here as to how you’re viewed. Do you think it might be something to do with you, or do you think everyone else is wrong?

I guess In much the same way you feel that the general consensus on climate change is wrong.

It's almost as if people research and keep up with what is happening in the world. You don't have to be an expert to understand what is happening. Some of us learned how to learn. You should try it some time.

You don't have to be an expert to understand what is happening - u wot m8

I don't "feel it", the scientific consensus on CC is a myth/cherry picked/not so clever lies that mentally weak people who want to believe there is a human made crisis easily swallow.

I'd say Fudge agrees with a lot of what I say. I'd say you think there's a consensus that Trump is an "idiot" but so many people outside your bubble/groupthink hive mind think he's not and in fact, so many people that he's president of the USA. So suck shit you bitter and sad fucker who can't win an argument with facts.
