i must be missing something, I thought he glued a pair of trainers to some blades, but what actually is the 'creation' part of it? did he just put a sticker on some ready made rollerblades? Puzzled

he's going by the well known notion, that a supreme sticker makes things cooler. despite popular belief, this isn't limited to macbooks

It's a joke. Everyone knows roller skates date back to 1790, 10 years before surfing, skateboards evolved from them not directly but from surfers in the 1950s. I like skateboarding too, Im just shit at it.

It's a custom skate setup, limited edition boot, white frame and soul plates aren't standard.

Didn't really know where else to put this, but i'm currently putting my portfolio together to take to my uni interviews/(hopefully)job interviews. Is there anything i should focus more so on than other things, i've been told typography is something uni's like to see..

Did this for a mate, he's walking around the coast of the UK for charity in Feb.
Gonna take him 10 months or so, so it's going to be a long slog.

Typography is one of the most important aspects of being a successful graphic designer.

Layout, photography, attention to detail, concise project descriptions, hierarchy of the page etc etc..

If you like you can email me a PDF version of your portfolio and I can take a look at it?

(I graduated last year & I'm now working as a Junior, won an I.S.T.D award last year & D&AD New Blood this year (without blowing my own horn))
