Didn't really know where else to put this, but i'm currently putting my portfolio together to take to my uni interviews/(hopefully)job interviews. Is there anything i should focus more so on than other things, i've been told typography is something uni's like to see..
Typography is one of the most important aspects of being a successful graphic designer.
Layout, photography, attention to detail, concise project descriptions, hierarchy of the page etc etc..
If you like you can email me a PDF version of your portfolio and I can take a look at it?
(I graduated last year & I'm now working as a Junior, won an I.S.T.D award last year & D&AD New Blood this year (without blowing my own horn))
I've got a fair amount of type stuff already, everything is all over the place at the minute though. hopefully by the end of the week ill some stuff to show, but id defiantly remember to put something up, would appreciate the help!
where abouts did you study? and thats sick mate, if i were you id be blowing my own horn all over the place. any of the work you did online?
fair enough
