Despite Barton being a twat, just found out that he has donated a worn signed shirt for a charity event being held on Sun for a lad from the area who was killed recently. Props to him for doing that. Craig Gardner too.

Absolute class today against a West Brom team that just didn't look like they fancied it in the first half. Still loads of defensive frailties but we kept riding our luck and the decisions (bar a couple of questionable handballs) and run of the ball that we haven't been getting all seemed to be favourable today (although I didn't think that Probert had that bad a game overall - San might disagree, especially with the red which seemed pretty harsh 
).
Phillips played with a real confidence and although they'll be overlooked, his two touches prior to Zamora's goal were fantastic. Looking for your lot to do us a favour against Leicester next weekend, San - they won't be that bad again, surely!?

First time in ages I ignored all results cos my team wasn't playing and watched MOTD without knowing anything. Some real surprise results and gems of goals.

The Ronaldo Show. Think the rumours are true that certain Real Madrid players don't think bale belongs on the starting 11 teamsheet each week. Weird how he isn't part of the pack celebrating after ronaldo scores and the same players weren't celebrating with him after his goal put them in the lead.
