I don't think Arsenal are buying anyone else. Cech being an obvious improvement I would thought we'd have continued to strengthen. I think we need new players throughout the centre CB, DM and ST.

Twitter seems to think PSG released statement earlier saying no players will be sold, not a guarantee I guess but looks unlikely.

Seems pretty unlikely PSG would be letting Cavani etc leave given that they haven't got any replacements in and their buying window is closed

On another note, I'm surprised no one tried to sign Verratti from PSG. He's a bumper.

What a plonker. Laughing out loud

Typical of Daniel Levy to be acting the cunt. A bit rich how good he is at getting top money for Spurs players.

Judging by this sounds Peace was acting the cunt.

sky wrote: Sky sources understand that the deal to take Saido Berahino to Spurs failed to happen simply because the West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace refused to do business.

Tottenham are known to be surprised that Peace chose to make Spurs’ four bids public and made the process personal.

The disappointment felt in north London from the failure to get the deal over the line has been compounded by a belief that both the player and the West Brom manager Tony Pulis wanted the deal to happen. That feeling has been strengthened by the player’s tweet this afternoon suggesting he won’t play for the Baggies again.

We believe negotiations between the two clubs started as long as four months ago and that Spurs received encouraging signs from the Hawthorns throughout the summer.

Only cost us 400k and £20mill (if the reports are true) would be an absolute steal. What I like about him is he's got skills and strength and is an entertainer (just like zaha) who have been drawing a new generation of young fans to Selhurst Park. Some games however he plays like he believes his own hype and gets nothing right. When he went to Africa Cup of Nations we didn't actually miss him and went on a bit of a winning run.

Always had a blinder against Brighton though Sticking out tongue

Oops What do I know. Anyway he was half decent against chelsea. Glad he's staying Sticking out tongue

Stark contrast to Pulis leaving over transfer funds, got Cabaye for peanuts and kept the rest of your talent, strong lineup at the moment.

Not panicking about no signings, I'm sure when Welbeck gets fit again it'll be "like a new signing"; then he'll "put a shift in" (run around a lot) and show "great protection of the fullback" (not scoring) for 4 months, score a hattrick for England all assisted by Wilshere then they'll both get injured again in the last 10 minutes.

City have spent so much, how does that work under the financial fair play rules? That team is immense.

Their weekly wage bill is £2,000,000 + the highest in world sport. Players' average weekly wage over £100k. That's fair…

Good window for Villa. Losing our two best players but seeing 13 players come in leaves me optimistic. Would of liked a striker so that might bite us in the arse but happy with Sherwood.

Gutted the info I had on Austin and put on here about him staying, I didn't actually jump on! 4/1 when i was told and even 7/2 still today! Was burnt on the Delph market so was wary.

Where've you got that from? Pretty sure Uniteds wage bill was bigger on last lot of figures released.

Would've been daft to admit before the window shut, would've driven any potential transfer even higher in cost. Still dunno why we couldn't drop 15m on say Austin as backup at least though.

Rooney's only scored 3 goals for England against nations in the top 10. No wonder nobody gives a shit.
