At Barca Pep had the best players in the world and the finances. Then at Bayern he inherited a team with the best keeper on the planet and a squad packed full of world stars to which he added more. Now with city once again he has everything he needs to win it all. That's all good but compared to Eddie Howe he's just mediocre. I would rather have seen him go to United and seen if he could turn it around.

Leicester need to win the league surelyFellas the real deal past 12 months, people laughed a little when I said England needs him, we certainly do in this form and playing up front, not wide. Vardy at it again, what a wonder strike!
Oh and a perfect way to sign off on your 80 bags a week contract. Vardy is getting better and better. Shame he is 29. As for the league I'd be happy with top 6. Anything else even now would be utterly amazing. Man city away sat 12.45pm, that might be a good sky game to watch all you neutrals.
If we get something there, then Arsenal away, I might believe we can do it.

Yep, he was always going to end up going there though, would have been nice to see him try somewhere else with a bit more of a challenge, where will he go after this then? PSG? Juventus?……

As a neutral, who's team isn't in the Premier League, i'd love it if Leicester could to do it, would be a breathe of fresh air
Good luck on Saturday against City

Completely agree with this. Next will be PSG for sure, trying to win the CL there.
On a different note, pretty sad to see decent players like Martinez, Ramires, Gervinho and Guarin going to China and end their career before 30.

Agreed. Although Europa League could hinder Spurs bigtime. That helps Leicester, not having all the European ties.

just the kind of players who are happy to take the best £££ option rather than best football option they be out there getting paid ronaldo/messi money to basically stroll around the pitch with a bunch of other journey men. its a shame to see but not at all suprising, think will see a lot more of it in coming windows.
^^^ yeah it's weird all that.
USA and Middle East have been good retirement spots for a few years now, where you get a lot of money at the end of your career, 32/34, as Russia is a decent compromise where you can be paid a lot but still be in European football. China makes no sense at all to me, and those names in particular, as said, could still be paid more than decently in Europe
I dont think its as simple as that, there are very few top european clubs who have the budget to pay those salaries + transfer fees , the rest of the leagues are not like the prem where now even mid to lower table clubs can spend 10-15 mil on players. most teams in spain/france/germany/italy etc players in general are on wages similar to that of championship sides here.
ramieres was not going to go to one of the top euro teams with a comparable budget to chelsea, so if he went somewhere it would prob mean him taking a 25% paycut at least, where as going to china he likely doubled his wages, its sad but they just taking the easy option and the £££ the prem is a very hard league to leave as the money is not the same any where else (unless you are leaving in a bale/suarez style transfer)

i hate to say this but if spurs stay injury free, i think they might have a real chance. Would love love love Leicester to win it, would be the best thing for english football for time.
