I expected Arsenal to nick it. I just can't fathom how the Arsenal players are always taking the piss out of them i.e szchesney (sp?) on Twitter and they seem to not give a shit about it? It drives the fans loopy but it's as if the players aren't aware of the rivalry

They see it as just banter. They have no idea what goes on between the fans outside before and after the games. I'm actually with you . They shouldn't be making comments at all on social media as it's totally unprofessional. Imagine if Twitter was about when sol Campbell moved to Arsenal and he had a dig at the spurs fans through it after they lose their higher league position on the last day of the season to his new team.

The way I see it is both Arsenal and Spurs are both quite tragic teams playing their role to a tee - Spurs play well and make it look like they've overtaken Arsenal just to fall at the final hurdle every time. Arsenal pinch it at the death but are still the perennial nearly-but-not-quite that flop then regain some grace while pipping Spurs to regain a bit of pride and Wenger stays for another season of this little tragicomedy while the rest of the league laughs at us

Mostly foreigners posting on twitter who wouldn't get the rivalry anyway isn't it? Any with half a braincell will see it best not to add fuel to the flame. Can't see Wilshere posting anything today.

Didn't Wilshere get fined over his anti-spurs songs? Not just my opinion then. I just find it cringeworthy when players get involved in the rivalry when they are professionals who would be off at the first sign of more ££££. Fans dish it out enough as it is and that's part and parcel of football. Got no problem with that.

I think it shows Footballers are semi-human and they would be boring as hell if they were all like Alan Shearer.

Knew Tottenham would manage to fuck it up, bunch of bottlers. Called it 2 weeks ago. They're never gonna do better than this season and they still finished behind arsenal Laughing out loud

Well known Tottenham fan Ian Wright speaking the truth for people like edlo

Ian Wright wrote: the abuse they are getting from Arsenal and Chelsea fans is actually a compliment and shows just what they have achieved.

They have made the supporters of their biggest London rivals behave like fans of small-time clubs.

exactly this^^^

Chelsea and gooners looking for anything to get out of the fact that both of their seasons have failed
Out of the 4 london prem teams spurs and hammers will be well happy with how they have done this season
Spurs would have bitten your hand off for 3rd before the season started, same with the hammers if they get europe

Chelsea defence of their title was such a disaster their biggest achievement of the year is thinking they stopped spurs from winning the title.

And arsenal had the best chance to win it all they have had since forever given the poor showing of the other big clubs and still managed to come second to Leicester

pretty much sums it up Eye-wink

Pre-match entertainment failure. Tinie Tempah must be laughing all the way to the bank for that 90 seconds.

Palace bruhs won't get vex about the loss though, the Pardew skank was worth more than any cup final win will ever be. That was a ton of special

Stoney was going to top himself when Bobby scored that winner, Smith will be in that same zone.

Didn't capitalise at 1-0 then again when they had 10 men. Our own fault really. Can't complain too much.
