Me and a couple of mates put £15 a week on 6 team acca to accumulate night out money for us. I said to them before the season started we should put money on Arsenal going down and didn’t do it. They are so fuckin shite it’s unreal.

He's scored 3 goals in 3 games, lets see if he can keep it up for sustained period.

All different players too so stupid comparison. But if we have to……Foden tops that list.

Foden is ridiculous, I just feel like the age difference edges it to Mason. I feel Mason's on par or better and 18 months younger

With Ronaldo and Cavani to learn from, he'll be an animal in 2 years time

With Ronaldo and Cavani, he'll be shoved back out to right wing

Laughing out loud

Soon as he went to the right wing vs wolves he bagged. Admittedly, he isn't big enough to play as a 9 yet though. Will fill out in time and eclipse Kane's numbers Ubercool

Greenwood looks like a player however United have a track record in recent years that all their local talent drops off and never hits the heights every united fan bangs on about.

Look at Rashford, love the bloke but he's not exactly ripping up trees.

My prediction for Greenwood in 2 years is he won't have scored more than 20 goals in a single season and that is what is required.

Forget Ronaldo and Cavani he needs a proper coach and United are stuck with that plum Ole.

They're good points.

If you were a young striker though, would you prefer to be in

a) a team with Ronaldo and Cavani, Ole as manager BUT knowing he fully trusts you and giving you game time, or
b) a City team with no mentors, rotated with random midfielders and managed by Pep?

And Greenwood is better than Rashford probably even now, 4 years his junior. All you have to do is look at them both for 5 minutes on a pitch. Can't really compare Greenwood with other graduates from our academy imo. He's probably the best 19 year old on the planet, it's not as if that comes around every couple of years.

He bags 22/23+ in all competitions this year

100% managed by Pep. Ronaldo only cares about Ronaldo and come on Cavani being seen as some sort of major mentor is Laughing out loud based on what he's scored a few goals. Bloke barely speaks english and will be out in a year.

What he could learn from a focused top class coach in year will contribute way more that 5 minutes every so often when Ronaldo decides to speak to you.

It's not even arm around the shoulder kind of mentoring tho, it's the way they conduct themselves on and off the pitch. Especially in training, there's no way Greenwood doesn't improve from being around them daily as opposed to being around excellent midfielders instead.

Pep's coached so many good players and the only three that are strong arguments thats he's drastically improved are Busquets, Sterling (now falling off?) and Messi (was always going to become the best player anyway) he just facilitated it by making the whole team around him. edit - and Foden

Game time and experience is needed for development, players wont get as much as that under Pep. Look at Mahrez, B Silva & Jesus. All crazy players who were signed by him for big money and haven't improved under the so called best coach in the business

Also, Pedri is 18, I carefully crafted that sentence Laughing out loud he's a baller

Mahrez has improved a lot for a start, he’s been absolutely brilliant in the last 18 months. He doesn’t shine quite as bright as he did in that Leicester team but look at who he’s surrounded by. Gundogan? John Stones? Thiago at Bayern? Kimmich? Kdb is the best midfielder in the world. He’s got a reputation for improving players, more than any other manager, for a reason.

Greenwood is a brilliant player. I’m just sticking up for the weird bald bastard even if I haven’t forgiven him for the champions league final.

Hard to argue against the normal one in that argument for the current prem.
