As a non City fan I remember my city fan pals talking about Foden around a decade ago, all they ever fucking went on about was him, he was always supposed to be head and shoulders above anyone at youth level, smashing records taking the piss etc. the lad won the golden boot/world cup in what the U18s? Not saying he hasn't developed but he was destined to be an insanely good player how much input Pep had on that is debatable. Never heard nish about Greenwood

It's great Ronaldo has moved back to United (no Man U fan), even if he didn't play a game or got a serious injury or is a massive flop the fact he went back to the place he made his name is good for football.

I'm a neutral this season, Arsenal have driven me to find club football taxing and boring.

Not even because we are losing its just the manner of the losses and perceived negativity in the team.

I'm hoping United have a good season this year, 1) because they are part of my annual accy, and 2) I really don't want the likes of City/Chelsea/LFC (soz LFC) to lift the trophy.

Come on Razor what the fuck is this? You can’t give up when your team’s doing shite, that’s just part of it. Wanting the scum to do well? As an Arsenal fan? Nah fuck that mate, keep the hate.

Look at United, no one spoke about them for the last 4 years in this thread and all of a sudden they are back after a couple of signings and 2 wins and a draw.

I don’t mind you wanting us not to win it, but don’t think we should be tarred with the same brush as City and Chelsea. 2 clubs that have bought their way to the top. At least we’ve earned what we have as a club over 129 years.

City still not winning the champions league after spending all that money is the biggest lol in football. The Fraud wouldn’t cope at a team that didn’t spend money, we all know this.

Haha, it's a best of, out of a list of possible worst cases; I don't think I can take City/Chelsea/L'Pool winning the league.

LFC, I only put Liverpool in that group because you've won it recently, and fans I knew were insufferable during the CL and PL wins. Adding possibly equalling United's PL trophy wins…

When I say I'm neutral, I'm just not as emotionally attached to Arsenal as previous, this has been a gradual thing over the past decade. Until things change in the operational side; the team will continue their downward spiral. Signing Willian on the terms agreed was probably the last straw for me; not even his dire performances… At 34, he still had 2 years left on a £240k p/wk contract, that's absurd!

It will be interesting to see Amazon's documentary on Arsenal in the changing room. If they even release it in the end…

All of my Arsenal-supporting mates feel the same as Razor. Most grew up watching Arsenal win things or at least challenge or get top 4. You guys have the most fickle and entitled fanbase. Arsene spoiled you massively.

Tbf, I know how they feel. Had to wait until I was in my 30s to see Lpool win the league. If it wasn't for the UCL wins to keep the hope alive, I might've felt the same as the Arsenal fans do now.

The hate never goes away.

That was the week of Stevie’s last game, 6-1 defeat to Stoke. Win, lose or draw.

Does feel like the title race is wide open for the first time in years as Chelsea & Man U have done some excellent business in the transfer window, Liverpool have VvD back fit (which is like a worldy signing) and City have brought in Grealish who already looks right at home. Can't see Spurs going the distance in the title race but holding on to Kane and bringing in a big money centre half are big positives so you never know.

Not much to cheer about as a Newcastle fan and agree with Razor - our season is going to be the same old shite so hoping to see the big dog new signings tear it up on match of the day (Ronny/Romelu etc.)
