if he leaves blackburn, id be surprise if he went anywent to anyone else. would be a good signing too.

dont think you can expect a high hit rate with that approach, on the whole done decently though (not that id want him back & i think liverpool signings have been shocking).
bale, modric, kaboul, ekotto, berbatov all his.
other decent players boateng, taarabt though unproven still, corlukas not bad, bent is shit but does well.
Junior Hoilett out of contract in the summer too. Spurs should snap him up as cover for injuries to Bale/Lennon.

yeah but that's easy to do when you sign 100 players, you will sign some good. Same goes for arnesen, he signed a million players of course a few will turn out all right.
